NAVIK (GENERAL DUTY)
Educational Qualification: HS passed with Maths and Physics from a recognized Board with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Note: 5% relaxation in minimum cut off will be given for SC/ST candidates and outstanding sports personnel of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/ Interstate National Championship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years.

Basic Pay: Rs. 21700/- per month.

The basic training of selected candidates will commence in July – August 2019 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training.
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.

Physical Standards: The candidates should be Medically and Physically fit and should possess the minimum physical standards given in the Official Advt. Please see the Official Advt. for more details.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Academic Qualification, Written Examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination. The examination will be held at various centres across India. The examination will be conducted during the month of March – April 2019.

1. ASSISTANT MANAGER
No. of Vacancies: 22 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
ii) Basic knowledge of Accounts and Accounting Procedure.

Experience: Minimum 05 years experience of working in a Government organization.
Age Limit: Minimum 26 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2019.

2. LOWER DIVISION CLERK
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Madhyamik or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
ii) Basic knowledge of Computer.
Desirable: Minimum 05 years experience in handling loans/ scholarships/ accounts/ micro credit in a Government organization.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400-25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2600/-

3. GROUP-D
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Passed class VIII from any recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.4900-16,200/- with Grade pay Rs.1700/-

4. DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Passed class VIII from any recognized Institute.
ii) Driving licence (LMV).
Experience: Five years experience in driving.
Age Limit: Minimum 24 years and maximum 45 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400-25,200/- with Grade pay Rs.2600/-

The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis but likely to be Permanent.
The selected candidates will be on Probation.
Reserved Category candidates from the States other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 45 years for PWD candidates.
